A driver who fell into Tamassos dam with his car was rescued by the fire department after waiting overnight for help to arrive.
The fire brigade said that it had received a call on Thursday morning to rescue a person after his vehicle had fallen into the dam.
The man was trapped in the car since the previous night. He was freed by rescue team and his car towed to land.
