Limassol district court on Monday ordered a 46 year old man remanded in custody for three days as police probe a case of child pornography.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday after a tip off. He is suspected of having sent child porn on a social media platform. His home was searched and police found a mobile phone which was taken in as evidence and is being examined.
The suspect appeared before Limassol district court on Monday which approved police’s request he be remanded in custody for three days.
Police’s cyber crime unit is investigating a case of illegally acquiring, possessing and disseminating child pornography.
