The Paphos District Court ordered a three-day imprisonment for a 23-year-old man of African origin who attempted to travel from Paphos Airport to France.
During passport control, it was ascertained that even though the passport appeared to be genuine, the photo did not match the man who had the passport.
When interrogated he admitted everything.
Policemen at Paphos CID continue the investigations.
