A man has been found dead in a car in the Ayiou Syla neighbourhood in Limassol, Philenews reported.
It said the man has shot wounds and that police have not ruled out foul play.
The man is reported to be middle aged. Police and an ambulance are at the scene.
The victim was found by a woman who was near to where the car came to a halt. Philenews said the man was apparently conscious and an ambulance was called, but succumbed to his wounds.
First reports suggest that his car had been pursued by another vehicle with unknown assailants who shot him.
The same reports said the victim was known to police.
