A Bulgarian man was killed yesterday in Dheryneia, while setting up a home air conditioning unit.
He was named today as Tocho Mintchev Hristozov, 64, who was living in the community.
Under as yet unidentified circumstances, he fell from a ladder three meters to the ground as he was setting up the unit outside, suffering fatal injuries to his head.
An autopsy establishing cause of death will be held at a later date due to the covid pandemic.
Dheryneia police are investigating in coordination with the Labour Office.
