A 24 year old man caught driving with more than 22 times over the legal limit of alcohol in his body, was sentenced to one month in prison on Tuesday.
The Court also suspended his driving licence for three months after his release from jail, imposed five penalty points and handed him a fine of €170.
The man was booked driving under the influence of alcohol on November 19, 2017 in Ayia Napa. His breathalyser test recorded 199μg/ml, more than 22 times the legal limit of 9μg/ml.
