A 29 year old man was arrested at Larnaca airport on Saturday night on suspicion of possessing around 20 kg of cannabis.
According to police, the suspect had arrived in Cyprus around 11:40 pm. During a check on his luggage, police and customs officers found 12 packages containing 20 kg of cannabis.
The man is due in court on Sunday for a remand hearing.
