A 36 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of improper conduct and attempted rape against a 42 year-old woman.
The man allegedly held the woman against her will and unsuccessfully attempted to rape her.
After the incident the woman informed the police, which after investigation arrested the suspect.
He was taken to court yesterday and after a closed hearing he was remanded in custody for eight days.
According to Phileleftheros, the hearing was closed because the suspect is a member of the woman’s family.
