A 23 year old non-Cypriot wanted in the Turkish occupied north on suspicion of murdering a 54 year old Turkish Cypriot has been arrested in Limassol.
A police spokesman said the man was arrested on Thursday evening on suspicion of illegal entry and residence in the Republic and premeditated murder.
The murder was committed in Turkish-occupied Trikomo at the end of September.
The suspect told police that he had crossed over into the government controlled areas from the mountains, and not via a checkpoint.
Moreover, a 29 year old non-Cypriot, in Cyprus legally as a student, was also arrested on suspicion of giving shelter to an illegal resident.
