Man arrested in connection with a number of recent thefts in Paphos

Paphos police have arrested a 41-year-old man wanted in connection with a number of break-in and theft cases currently under investigation.

Philenews also reported on Monday that two cases concern residential burglary and theft, allegedly committed on March 31 and April 08 in Paphos this year.

Another case is that of committing the offences of unlawful possession of property, unlawful possession of explosives and burglary tools, allegedly committed on April 15, again in Paphos.

Evidence against the 41-year-old suspect was obtained during the ongoing investigations into the three cases.

A court warrant was issued against him with the police looking for the suspect for weeks.

On April 28, his photo and details were released by police who managed to locate the man and arrest him.

Investigations are ongoing, police also said.
