A 47 year old dog owner is under arrest for illegally carrying a rifle and ammunition, assault and making threats after a row with a 34 year old in Geroskipou.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon. CNA reports that as the 34 year old was walking his dog, it allegedly attacked the dog that was in the garden of the house of the other man.
He allegedly fetched his hunting rifle and threatened the other man but tempers cooled with the intervention of neighbours.
