Antonis Hanni, 73, from Kalo Chorio Larnaca passed away at the town’s General Hospital where he was being treated after a motorcycle accident that took place on Saturday.
He had been rushed to hospital and was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit as he had severely injured his head upon collision.
The accident occurred around 8.30 am on Saturday in the light-controlled intersection of Lemesou Avenue with Nikiforou Foka Street and Makedonias Street.
The victim crashed with a car being driven by a 53-year-old woman heading from Nikiforou Foka Street to Makedonias Street, according to police whose investigations are ongoing.
