Famagusta District Court ordered today that the 24-year-old man from Liopetri is remanded in custody for 8 days to facilitate police investigations in relation to a case of attempted murder, illegal possession, transport, and use of firearms and explosives.
The offences were committed in the free area of Famagusta on Sunday.
