High pressure is affecting the area and the weather will be mainly fine over the next few days, the met office said on Thursday.
Today will be mainly fine although there will be increased localised cloud at intervals. Temperatures will be around 20 C inland and the south and east coasts, 19 C on the remaining coasts and 11 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will fall 7 C inland, around 8 C on the west and north coasts, around 10 C on the remaining coasts and 3 C in the mountains.
Friday will also be mainly fine and temperatures will remain at the same levels which is a little above average for the time of year.
The weekend will be mainly fine with increased localised cloud cover at intervals. Temperatures will edge up on Saturday, mainly inland and in the mountains, remaining at the same levels on Sunday which is above average for the time of year.
At the time of issue of the early morning weather bulletin there was 48 cm of snow on Troodos Square.
