Tuesday will be mainly fine in most areas, but in the west and north it will be partly cloudy and at intervals cloudy.
Gradually it will become partly cloudy and light scattered showers are possible locally. There may be light snowfall in the higher Troodos peaks.
Temperatures will be 18 C inland and on the coasts and around 9 C in the mountains.
Tonight will see increased cloud at intervals which on the coasts may lead to scattered light showers. Temperatures will fall to 7 C inland, 9 C on the coasts and around 0 C in the mountains.
Wednesday will see intervals of sunshine and intervals of cloud. There will be scattered showers and light snow in the higher Troodos peaks. There may be dust in the atmosphere.
At night, the weather will become mainly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms and snow or sleet in the mountains. Temperatures will remain unchanged at slightly above average for the time of year.
Thursday will be partly cloudy and at intervals cloudy. Temperatures will fall to a little below average for the time of year.
On Friday there will be intervals of mainly fine weather and intervals of cloud, with scattered showers or thunderstorms forecast. Snow is expected in the mountains. Temperatures will remain at Thursday’s levels.
At the time of issue of the weather bulletin, there was 46 cm on snow on Troodos Square.
