Mainly fine weather on Friday with temperatures rising to 39 C inland and 30 C in the mountains with possible isolated showers, according to the Mediterranean island’s Meteorological Service.
Temperatures in the west, south, north and east coasts will rise to 32 C and the sea will be smooth to slight.
The fire hazard is extremely high in all forest areas.
