Friday will be mainly fine but there will be increased cloud in the afternoon, mostly in the mountains.
Temperatures will rise to 39 C inland, around 34 C on the east and south coasts, around 32 C on the west and north coasts and around 28 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will fall to 23 C inland and on the coasts and 17 C in the mountains.
The weekend and Monday will be mainly fine with increased cloud at intervals.
Temperatures will edge up on Saturday, remaining at the same levels on Sunday and Monday which are slightly above average for the time of year.
