Weak low pressure is affecting the area and Wedesday will be mainly fine with increased local cloud forecast from midday on.
Temperatures will rise to 22 C inland, around 19 C on the west coast, around 20 C on the remaining coasts and around 14 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine, while in the west and locally in the north there will be intervals of increased cloud. Temperatures will fall to 6 C inland, around 10 C on the coasts and around 2 C in the higher Troodos peaks where locally there will be frost.
Thursday will be partly cloudy and at intervals cloudy, with the possibility of local light showers, mainly in the mountains.
On Friday and Saturday there will be intervals of mainly fine weather and intervals of cloud that may lead to isolated showers. Snow or sleet is possible in the highest Troodos peaks.
Temperatures will edge down on Thursday, remaining a little above the seasonal average, with a small increase forecast on Friday. Temperatures will drop slightly on Saturday.
The depth of snow at Troodos Square at the time of issue of the early morning weather bulletin was 50 cm.
