Mainly fine and sunny, temperatures at 21 C inland

It will be mainly fine and sunny today, to the delight particularly of those heading out for a Green Monday picnic,  although locally there will be intervals of cloud.

Temperatures will rise to 21 C inland, around 20 C on the east and south coasts, around 19 C on the remaining coasts and around 13 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be mainly fine. Locally there will be patchy fog and low cloud inland and on the south coast. Temperatures will fall to 7 C inland, around 9 C on the coasts and 3 C in the mountains where locally there may be frost.

Tuesday will be mainly fine although there will be increased local cloud at midday and in the afternoon.

Wednesday will be initially but there will gradually be increased increased, mainly high cloud.

Thursday will be cloudy at intervals with scattered showers in the evening. There may be light dust in the atmosphere.

Temperatures will remain at the same levels on Tuesday, rising on Wednesday mainly in the west and in the mountains to noticeably above average for the time of year.

Temperatures will drop on Thursday but will remain a little above the seasonal average.

The depth of snow at Troodos Square at the time of issue of the early morning weather bulletin was 39 cm.
