Mainly cloudy with light showers and dust in the atmosphere

Weak low pressure is affecting the area and Thursday will be mainly cloudy with local light showers, possibly accompanied by thunder, forecast late in the afternoon.

Temperatures will rise to 22 C inland, around 21 C on the coasts and around 17 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be mainly cloudy with the possibility of local light showers. There will be dust in atmosphere. Temperatures will fall to 10 C inland and the west and north coasts, around 12 C on the remaining coasts and around 5 C in the mountains.

Friday will be mainly cloudy with local showers and thunderstorms mainly at midday and in the afternoon as well as dust in the atmosphere.

In the evening the weather will become gradually fine and the dust will clear.

Saturday and Sunday will be mainly fine while locally there will be increased cloud, mainly at midday and in the afternoon.

Temperatures will edge down to close to average for the time of year, rising again on Saturday mainly inland and in the mountains.

Temperatures will rise even further in the mountains on Sunday, with a smaller increase in the remaining areas.

The depth of snow on Troodos Square at the time of issue of the early morning weather bulletin was 27 cm.
