A nectarine produced in Ayioi Vavatsinias, Larnaca entered the Guinness Book of Records as the heaviest nectarine in the world.
The fruit had a diametre of nine cm and weighed 500 gr.
Philenews contacted its producer Eleni Evangelou Ploutarchou who said that she now has the official certificate. She added that she has been working in agriculture for the past 65 years.
