Burglars have made off with clothes and fashion accessories from a Nicosia shop worth more than €100,000, philenews reported on Friday.
It said that the burglary was reported to the police yesterday. It added that the high-end clothes and fashion accessories that were stolen were valued at more than €100,000.
The shop is insured against theft, the web site added. Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, police said they had arrested a 26 year old man from the Famagusta district in connection with a spate of thefts.
The man is under investigation for 22 cases of theft of aluminium doors from houses and churches that occurred between January 16 and 24 in the area.
Dherynia police are investigating.
