Low pressure and some dust until Monday, Met Office says

Low pressure will affect at times the area and dust, mainly thin, will be around until Monday.

Today it will partly cloudy and there will be some rain early in the morning, mostly in the east. The temperature will reach 15 degrees C inland, the south and eastern coasts, around 19 C the rest of the coasts and 8 C on higher ground. Tonight it will be partly cloudy and there will be light rain locally whereas on the higher mountain peaks at Troodos snow or sleet.

Tonight temperatures will fall to around 7 C inland, around 10 C on the coast and around zero degrees on high mountains. Frost will form locally in the mountains.

Tomorrow, there will be periods of fine weather and cloud, and isolated light showers are expected. On high ground slight snow or sleet.

On Monday it will be mainly fine but it will become increasingly cloud. Early afternoon we may have isolated showers, and occasional snow on Troodos higher peaks.

On Tuesday, it will be fine and at times cloudy, with light rain and possibly some snow on Troodos.

Temperatures on Sunday will drop slightly, mainly on the west and in the mountains, whereas on Monday it will rise slightly to reach average for time of year. No significant change is expected on Tuesday.

Snow at Troodos square was 54 cm early this morning.
