Cabinet on Wednesday decided to grant an Easter allowance for low-income pensioners.
The allowance is given to individuals whose annual income is less than €6,500, or to couples whose combined income is below €11,000.
The allowance starts at €190 for a single person and is adjusted accordingly depending on the size of the household. A couple will receive €380.
