The carnival parade in Limassol started at 1 pm on Makarios avenue and will conclude around 9 pm on Sunday.
Musicians launched the parade with their serenades at 1 pm, followed by the carnival chariots at 1:15 pm, headed towards the Polemidia traffic lights.
They are joined by the children’s carnival parade which was postponed last weekend due to rain.
The parade will conclude at 9 pm at the Old Port square.
