A Limassol initiative group has called a protest march for 23 June to protest at the increase in rents for housing in their town.
Organisers have created a Facebook page and are calling on residents to join the protest. More than 1000 have already indicated they will be taking part.
Rents have been rising across the island, but Limassol is particularly affected.
