A 36 year old postal worker is under arrest and is expected to appear before Limassol district court on Friday after the discovery of a package containing about half a kilo of cannabis, the Cyprus News Agency has reported.
Police said that the package had been sent from Canada and remained unclaimed at the post office. It was opened by a customs official yesterday who found the drugs.
Suspicions arose about the postal worker who was arrested. Police are also looking for a second person, aged 35.
