Limassol Municipality is appealing for the public’s understanding as it steps up efforts to fix potholes on the roads.
In an announcement, the municipality said that the recent heavy rains have taken a toll on the roads, making the problem with potholes more acute.
In an effort to quickly address problems, members of the public are asked to contact the municipality on telephone 77777788 and 99453090 to report such cases so that crews can fix the potholes.
The municipality’s crews will be working on Saturday to repair the roads, it added.
Last Saturday, several central Limassol streets, particularly near the old castle, flooded as a result of a particularly heavy downpour.
