Limassol police have arrested four drivers for speeding, two of whom were racing on a central street, philenews reported on Monday.
It said the two – aged 21 and 23 — were caught speeding at 139 km an hour on Franklin Roosevelt street where the speed limit is a 50 km at around 8.15 pm. The two young men were racing.
At around noon, an 18 year old was caught speeding 174 per hour in a 80 km speed limit area while 15 minutes later on Nicos Pattichis street a 20 year old young man was caught speeding 115 km per hour. The speed limit is 50 km
All four drivers are expected to appear in Limassol court today.
