The National Betting Authority and the Cyprus Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission are organising a week-long series of events with the contribution of all stakeholders of the gaming industry in Cyprus.

Under the slogan “Responsible Gaming Awareness Week: Let’s Keep it a Game”, the campaign is the first of its kind to be held in Cyprus and aims to raise awareness about responsible gaming practices.

It is also a chance to inform the public what it means to gamble responsibly, self-protection and more broadly how to jeep gambling a fun activity.

Featuring presentations, educational seminars, workshops and interactive games, the events begin on the weekend of October 6-7 when football players participating in all first division matches will wear the logo on the Responsible Gaming Awareness Week.

Other events include a conference to be held at the Nicosia Filoxenia Conference Centre with the participation of speakers from abroad on Monday.

During the week there will be interactive games during the week at the four universities in the capital, training seminars for and the presentation of a book by Liz Karter on Women and Problem Gambling in cooperation with the Cyprus Youth Board and the presentation of information material in all the towns.
