The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber, the office of the Commissioner for the Environment and Together Cyprus announce that a cleanup campaign will take place in Nicosia old town on Saturday, September 21 within the framework of the Let’s Do it World campaign.
The event is being held under the auspices of the Environment Commissioner Ioanna Panayiotou.
To be held between 9:00 am – 10:30 am, the event will start and end in front of the ETEK Educational Cultural Centre in Thyseos Street.
Volunteers will be organised into four groups who will be in charge of the following areas:
- South direction towards the Ochi roundabout
- North direction towards the Ayios Kassianos Church and Orpheas
- East direction towards the Famagusta Gate
- West direction towards the Faneromeni Church.
After the clean up, food and drink will be available for all volunteers.
