The “cabinet” of the occupied north lifted the restrictions at the Ledra Palace checkpoint, Kudret Özersay announced in a post on social media today.
He wrote that restrictions on the specific checkpoint that had been imposed during the pandemic are lifted because the needs of students and pupils attending educational institutions in the free areas were taken into account.
This decision came in effect last night.
