Laudamotion launching twice weekly Larnaca-Vienna flights

Relevant News

Austrian low fare airline Laudamotion is launching twice weekly flights to Larnaca from Vienna — on Thursday and Sundays — starting on October 28.

“Our routes work because we have the right offer for price-sensitive customers. In particular, with our new routes, I’m sure to increase the traffic with our new non-stop service to and from Vienna” said Andreas Gruber, Managing Director.

Maria Kouroupi, Hermes Airports Senior Manager Aviation Development said Hermes was very happy to welcome Laudamotion to Cyprus.

“The timing of the airline’s entry in the market supports connectivity and proves its confidence in the winter product of Cyprus,” she added.

Set up in March 2018 by Niki Lauda, Laudamotion has a fleet of 19 Airbus aircraft which depart from Austria and Germany.

Its headquarter is in Vienna but the airline is also focusing on the fast-growing bases in Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Palma. The Austrian airline offers flights to 49 destinations in 18 countries and anticipates to carry more than 5 million passengers in 2019.
