Police arrested a 44 year old woman who was involved in a collision on Demosthenous street in Larnaca, after finding her nearly 17 times over the limit.
The accident, involving two cars, happened around 6:40 am on Sunday.
There were no injuries but the cars were damaged.
Police who arrived at the scene conducted an alco-test on the woman, which gave a reading of 156 mg. The legal limit is 9 mg.
She was charged in writing and will appear in court at a later date.
