Larnaca municipality has added six people registered as unemployed to its street cleaning staff.
“Aiming for a more effective cleaning of areas in the city for which were there was not sufficient street cleaning, the municipality strengthened its Cleaning Department with six people which it picked from the list of unemployed” the municipal council said.
The new staff will clean the areas of Ayios Ioannis Theologou, the area from the land registry until the Refineries, the area from Siantonas street to General Timayias, the area from the EAC offices to Ayios Georgios Makri church, the area from Ayios Nikolaos church to Thessalonikis avenue and the area from Eleftherias avenue to Faneromenis church.
