Due to the increase of cases and hospitalizations recorded in recent week in almost all EU countries due to Covid-19 but also due to cases of influenza all over Europe, the European Disease Control Center is sounding the alarm.
The joint increase of cases is mainly attributed to the relaxation of measures implemented in several countries but also to the fact that following two years of extended isolation, the citizens do not implement the individual protection measures any more.
According to data, Influenza A’ (H3N2) but also Influenza B’ are here and confirmed cases have been recorded at Larnaca General Hospital.
