The authorities have been alerted following information that an infant was found dead in a bag, in the public toilets of Solomou Square in Nicosia.
Members of the Police have cordoned off the scene and are investigating the case, while also checking whether any woman has been transferred to a private or a public hospital with hemorrhage.
