The fire that broke out in the Community of Mosfiloti is currently under full control after burning four acres of pines, olive trees and other vegetation.
According to an announcement of the Forestry Department that was responsible for putting out the fire, 47 people of the Department participated with 10 fire engines, assisted by four aircraft. Forces remain in the area in case the fire is rekindled.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
