The fire that broke out earlier in a field between the Municipalities of Engomi and Anthoupolis is currently under control.
In a posting on twitter, Fire Service spokesman Andreas Kettis, said the fire burned approximately 10 acres of dry weeds and wild vegetation.
He added that the fire services protected houses while one storage room was damaged.
The relevant authorities are expected to investigate the causes.
