Police in Limassol went on alert shortly after midnight on Friday after a bomb exploded in a car parked outside the owner’s house in Ekali area.
Investigations showed that the explosion was due to the detonation of a home-made bomb placed in the car of the 60-year-old businessman who remains anonymous.
The car suffered substantial damage.
