The Fire Service has received several calls for help following strong rain just after noon in Nicosia.
According to the spokesman of the Fire Service Andreas Kettis, calls were made from the areas of Strovolos, Latsia, Dali and Industrial area of Strovolos.
It is reminded that the Meteorological Service had earlier issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and hail and it is still valid until 19:00.
