Heavy hail has been reported in Troodos on Friday.
The Facebook page – Weather Forecast Cyprus – Tasos Ierodiakonou posted pictures that show hail blanketing Troodos.
Unstable weather conditions have been affecting Cyprus since Wednesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for Friday, saying local heavy thunderstorms are likely, with precipitation exceeding 35 mm per hour.
Mountain areas are the most affected with temperatures at 11 C.
