Police are urging all drivers to be particularly careful because of heavy hail in the mountains.
It said that the Prodromos-Pedoulas, Prodromos-Kakaopetria -Pinewood and Pedoulas-Kalopanayiotis roads are especially slippery.
Heavy rain is also falling in the Peristerona-Akaki area.
