The President of the Republic is celebrating his 74th today. He was born on September 27th 1946 at Pera Pedi in the Limassol district.
He was elected for the first time in February 2013 and launched a successful reelection bid in 2018.
Anastasiades was leader of the Democratic Rally from 1997 to 2013 and served as an MP for the Limassol district between 1981 and 2013.
He is the founder of the law firm ‘Nicos.Chr.Anastasiades& Partners, established in 1972.
A University of Athens graduate, he continued postgraduate studies in Maritime Law at University College London.
He has been married to Andri Anastasiades since 1971 and has two daughters, Elsa and Ino Anastasiades.
