The Chinese city of Guanghzou has donated 50,000 masks to Cyprus which will be distributed islandwide, China’s ambassador in Nicosia Huang Xingyuan said on Monday.
In a message on Twitter, the ambassador also said that he was relieved to see Covid-19 cases in Wuhan drop to zero and the number of daily cases in Cyprus in single digits.
“China-Cyprus friendship is built to last forever,” he said, adding in Greek strength comes from unity.
