A statue of General George Grivas in Limassol was desecrated, since unidentified persons threw paint on it on Monday evening.
According to the General Grivas Digenis foundation, this is not the first time something like this has happened, when unidentified persons desecrate or destroy our monuments.
The foundation’s announcement requests effective guarding of the monument and stricter penalties for people who are caught destroying art or monuments.
