Government plan to sterilise stray cats

Relevant News

The Veterinary Services call all private-sector vets to participate the 2nd phase of the Scheme to Sterilise Stray Cats.

According to an announcement, only registered vets with fully equipped clinics – in terms of surgery and post-operative nursingĀ  – can participate.

Sterilisations will be distributed equally in all veterinary clinics, regardless of the number of veterinarians working / employed in them.

Registered veterinarians without clinics, who want to participate, have to declare the clinic in which they will carry out the sterilisation by submitting the relevant use / collaboration agreement with that clinic.

Veterinarians concerned are invited to declare their intention to participate in the Scheme by submitting the required documents by October 5, 2018 to the District Veterinary Office of their Province.

Veterinarians who have participated in Phase 1 of the 2018 Scheme, do not need to reiterate their interest.
