A giant strawberry statue has been erected in Deryneia as part of the area’s preparations for Christmas.
Deryneia is known for its strawberry production and holds a festival honouring the fruit every two years.
The large strawberry adorns a municipal parking spot in the Famagusta village.
Deryneia is one of seven areas selected by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism to operate as a Christmas Village this year.
