A Greek Cypriot and his British friend, who had been wanted in the government-controlled areas for drugs and money laundering, have escaped to the non government controlled areas.
According to the website Kipris Postasi, they were arrested today at the student halls in Famagusta having in their possession 3.5 gr. Of Indian cannabis.
The “district court” of Famagusta sentenced them to one month in jail.
