Owners of hybrid and electric cars will be able to acquire a special permit to park their vehicles for free until December 31 2021, according to a Strovolos Municipality announcement.
New permit for current holders will be issued automatically and sent to them via post.
Those who wish to acquire a new permit can do it by filling a request form, which can be found at the Citizens Service Office at Strovolos town hall or they can do it online at www.strovolos.org.cy.
The completed form, along with the car’s registration papers, can be submitted at the Citizens Service Office or sent electronically to [email protected].
The permit will be issued by the municipality and sent to the applicant by post, who must place it in such a way on the vehicle so that it is clearly visible, the announcement concludes.
